Extremismus je jedním z aktuálních jevů ve společnosti nejen v současnosti, ale i minulého století. V České republice se více začal projevovat po roce 1989. Extremismus má mnoho podob, ale společnost jej začne vnímat až v té nejnepříznivější formě, kdy se dotkne základních lidských práv a svobod, poškozování majetku a dalších nepříznivých vlivů na společnost. Ve většině případů se jedná o přestupky nebo trestné činy.
Jelikož se jedná o stále aktuální problematiku nejen u nás, ale i v jiných zemích, byla volba tématu z tohoto důvodu jednoduchá, ale prvotním signálem byla již mnou zpracovaná bakalářská práce na téma "Extremismus a Židovská otázka". V průběhu zpracování diplomové práce na téma "Právní a sociální aspekty současného extremismu v ČR" je i hlavním cílem zaměřit se i na obecný přehled jednotlivých forem extremismu spolu s jeho právními a sociálními aspekty a jednotlivými zaměřeními extremistických skupin. Hlavním cílem je postihnout hlavní problémy extremismu v českých zemích. V prvé části své práce se zaměřím na obecné charakteristiky extremismu. Analýza jednotlivých forem extremistických skupin bude pro mě východisko pro hodnocení současného stavu extremismu v České republice.
V rámci této problematiky budu také věnovat pozornost symbolice jednotlivých hnutí, která jsou nedílnou součástí propagace extremistických skupin a jedním z projevů extremistů.
Charakteristickým znakem společnosti je její různorodost v rámci názorů a postojů. Extremismus je však ve větší míře brán jako projev odlišného názoru určité skupiny lidí, která je odlišná od běžné skupiny lidí, kdy se projev stává extrémním až radikálním postojem, který se snaží prosazovat. Extremistické skupiny jsou danou většinou odsuzovány i z důvodu jejich přítomnosti v určité lokalitě. Lidé mají z jejich přítomnosti strach, zvyšuje se riziko kriminality, výtržností, rušení veřejného pořádku a další. Extremistické projevy narůstají zvláště v době finančních, hospodářských a politických krizí, narůstající migraci či zvýšenému počtu asociálních lidí.

Extremism is one of the actual phenomena in the society not only today but also the last century. In the Czech Republic has begun to show more after 1989. Extremism has many forms, but the company can begin to perceive, when it is in the worst form, when it touches fundamental human rights and freedoms, property damage and other adverse impacts on society. In most of cases it are offenses or crimes.
It is an increasingly topical issue not only here but in other countries too. So the choice of theme for this reason was simple, but the first signal was by prepared my thesis on topic "Extremism and the Jewish question." During writing the diploma thesis on "Legal and social aspects of contemporary extremism in the CR" are the main goals to focus on a general overview of the various forms of extremism, along with its legal and social aspects and the different focus of extremist groups. The main objective is to cover the main issues of extremism in the Czech lands. In the first part of my thesis I will focus to the general characteristics of extremism. Analysis of different forms of extremist groups in the second part will be basis for assessing the current state of extremism in the Czech Republic.
In this issue I will also pay attention to the symbolism of the various movements that are an integral part of the promotion of extremist groups and one of the manifestations of extremists.
Hallmark of the company is a diversity of opinions and attitudes. Extremism is more widely taken as an expression of opinion, a different group of people, which is different from "ordinary group of people" when speech becomes extreme and radical position, which is trying to promote. Extremist groups are the most frowned upon and due to their presence in a particular locality. People are afraid of their presence, increase the risk of crime, disorder, public nuisance and others. Growing extremist manifestations are especially during the financial, economic and political crises, by increasing migration and an increased number of antisocial people.
