Předložená práce je zaměřná na organizování v podnicích, organizační struktury, typy organizačních struktur a jejich výhody a nevýhody. Práce se dále zabývá faktory ovlivňujícími volbu organizační struktury a důsledky nedostatečné organizace. Praktická část představuje společnost Steelcase a popisuje její organizační strukturu. Na základě informací poskytnutých společností pak popisuje vlivy organizační struktury na chod podniku a předkládá návrhy na úpravy v organizačni struktuře, jejichž cílem je efektivnější chod podniku a zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti podniku.

Submitted thesis is focused on organization in a company, organizational structure, different types of organizational structures and their advantages and disadvantages. It further addresses various factors affecting the choice of correct organizational structure and consequences of insufficient organization. The second part of this thesis introduces the company Steelcase and describes its organizational structure. Based on the information provided by the company employees, it describes influences the organizational structure has on the business and presents organizational structure adjustment proposals which aim is to ensure efficient operation and increased competitiveness of the company.
