Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na pacienty s Alzheimerovou demencí. V teoretické části je obecná charakteristika Alzheimerovy choroby, je zde popsána příčina, prevence, diagnostika a léčba. Dále jsou zde definovány složky komprehenzivní rehabilitace a rozebrány jednotlivé metody a druhy terapie využívané u této diagnózy. V praktické části je pak zpracovaná má práce s vybranými klienty, u kterých jsem se zaměřila na trénink kognitivních funkcí. Popisuji zde testy a metody, které jsem při práci s klienty využívala a výsledky, kterých jsem za určité období dosáhla.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on patients with the Alzheimer's disease. In the theoretical part is a general characteristic, there is described cause, prevention, diagnosis and treatment. There are also defined components of comprehensive rehabilitation and discussed the various methods and types of therapies used for this diagnosis. In the practical part is processed my work with selected clients, where I focused on the training of cognitive functions. There I describe the tests and methods that I used to work with the clients and the results I have achieved in a certain period of time.
