Key learning outcomes The graduate has wide knowledge in theoretical, methodological and cross-disciplinary subjects that helps him/her orientate, both practically and theoretically, in basic topics of market economy and play an active role in managing business, economic or administrative subjects. The graduate in the above field proves advanced specialist knowledge in the field of economic theories, business economics and management and basics of other special economic disciplines. Extended knowledge has been achieved in the field of strategic management, business economics and financial management of business projects and here he/she is, thanks to the achieved knowledge and experience, ready for competent operation in the real world. The graduate has gained necessary skills in the ICT field and is able to communicate in one world language competently (B2 level) and optionally also in another world language. The graduate is able to analyze problems, solve them in a creative way and present outputs of his/her work. He/she is ready to work responsibly and solve problems both in a team and autonomously. He/she is well equipped for future lifelong education. The graduate of the follow up master study programme is equipped with the necessary skills enabling him/her to function in economic and managerial positions in companies and institutions operating in the field of manufacturing and services as well as non-profit organizations. He/she is ready to function in the positions of economists, managers and will be able to solve even more complicated non standard situations on the top executive level.

Profile of the programme This study programme is designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of economics, business economics, management, finance. At the same time, it comprises blocks of foreign languages and courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice that the graduate can apply in various positions, for example manager in companies operating in manufacturing and services, manager in non-profit organizations. The programme also includes practical training. The graduate is equipped with the necessary skills enabling them to apply for economic and managerial positions in companies as well as in non-profit organizations. In addition, this study programme is designed to equip the future graduate with theoretical background and skills necessary for study in a follow-up doctoral study programme in a related field of study, namely Business economics and management.
