Key learning outcomes
|
The graduates have appropriate knowledge in field of mathematical fundamentals and they understand elementary proof techniques. They also orientate themselves in key disciplines of mathematics (mathematical analysis, geometry, algebra, perhaps even numerical methods or discrete mathematics). They are able to do calculations needed on their own or using specialized mathematical software and also study and analyze scientific literature or even create their own short scientific text. They have abilities in using information technologies.

Profile of the programme
|
This study programme is designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of computer science and engineering, which are reflected in the functioning of a computer system, the problems of object-oriented programming, principles of computer graphics and color models, principles of operation of basic computer system structures, principles of communication in computer technology. At the same time, it comprises blocks of courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice. The future graduates are able to effectively work with extensive text, spreadsheet, database systems, vector and bitmap editor. Further they are able to analyze and propose methods and procedures for data processing and security. They should be able to create programs in a procedural language, can program at a basic level, but with fully experience the features and possibilities of object-oriented programming language. They can create and publish web pages.
