Key learning outcomes
|
Graduates approve knowledge and understanding of the basic biological, geological and ecological terms and methods, they are acquainted with problems of recent biology; they have basic knowledge of molecular biology and cell biology, genetics, botanical and zoological anatomy, histology and morphology, plant and animal physiology, they are acquainted with biological systems and basic terms of the geological sciences and ecology. They know basic laboratory methods. They are able to work with scientific articles, to search for relevant information and apply them to solve a particular problem. Graduates are able to obtain basic biological data - by the field research or laboratory research - and they can analyse these data. Graduates are able to compose larger scientific text based on their study of literature, and data collection and analysis. They can gain and critically analyse information, formulate arguments and publicly present their work. They can use one of the world languages. They are able to use IT technologies in education. They are able to review their study results and predispositions in relation with choice of their further curricular development.
