Key learning outcomes
Graduates demonstrate knowledge and understanding of theoretical and practical areas of computer science and computer technology, which is reflected in the functioning of computer system; they understand the problems of object-oriented programming, know the principles of computer graphics and color models, know the principles of the various structures of the computer system, understand the principles of communication in computer technology. Further they have basic knowledge about the history of the computer science. They are able to work effectively with large text and know how to work with spreadsheet program, database system, vector and bitmap editor. They are able to analyze and propose methods and procedures for data processing and security. Moreover, they are able to assemble programs in a procedural language, computer programming at the elementary level, but with experiences and possibilities of object-oriented programming language. They can create and publish web pages, analyze on-line projects dealing with distance learning, propose basic mechanisms and solutions to computer networks, with particular emphasis on the school environment. They are able to analyze the involvement of selected logic circuit with the elements and to verify their behavior in a computer simulation program. They can self-study specialized literature, search for relevant information, interpret it and apply the selected solution in the field of study; write a special larger text. They are able to evaluate their communication skills, collect and critically analyze information in the team, formulate arguments and publicly present their own and team work. They have skills in one of world´s languages in B2. They know how to approach to teaching, supplemented by elements of information technology. They have skills in computer law, security and safety when working with computers. Finally they are able to evaluate their study performance and disposition in connection with the election of another curricular development.

Profile of the programme
This study programme is designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of computer science and engineering, which are reflected in the functioning of a computer system, the problems of object-oriented programming, principles of computer graphics and color models, principles of operation of basic computer system structures, principles of communication in computer technology. At the same time, it comprises blocks of courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice. The future graduates are able to effectively work with extensive text, spreadsheet, database systems, vector and bitmap editor. Further they are able to analyze and propose methods and procedures for data processing and security. They should be able to create programs in a procedural language, can program at a basic level, but with fully experience the features and possibilities of object-oriented programming language. They can create and publish web pages. The
